Sin Miedo is Spanish for “fearless”, and it’s also the name of one of the best Salsa bands in Washington. Led by French pianist Didier Prossaird, the name sums up the band leader’s attitude toward music. (Washington post-EricBrace)

Sin Miedo is a truly international group that makes the Afro-Cuban rhythms of Salsa and Mambo jump into your bloodstream and move your hips around (Washington Flyer)

Voted Number one Salsa Band in the DC/VA/MD area two years in a row by salsametro.com

It has been over 10 years since we first started in a small club in Adams Morgan (Washington DC), called Rumba Cafe. What started as a quintet ended up as a 10 piece band. We play mostly original Salsa and covers from the 70's to today's radio hits, Chachacha, Bolero.

The band features Alfredo Mojica Jr. on vocals and percussion, recording artist Steven Falcon on vocals who has joined the band for the past 4 years. Didier Prossaird the leader of the band on vocals singing in french and spanish and plays piano.Gary Sosias on Vocals and percussion, a Denver native who is a former member of Denver's Cojunto Colores.

"Estoy Enamorado" is our new 2009 release and our 3rd CD.

We have performed with great talented artist such as Frankie Vasquez and Tito Allen to name a few. We have collaborated for the past 5 years with Septime Weber, Artistic director of the Washington Ballet, to accompany his choreography "Juanita and Alicia". We toured many big Cities in the US and Cuba.
